Supplemental Figure 1 -
The specificity of anti-SWC3a (CD172a) antibody for porcine peripheral mononuclear
blood cells. Immunoreactivity of antibodies was analyzed by flow cytometry. Mouse
anti-porcine wCD8a antibody (UK-Serotec Ltd., Oxford, UK) and mouse anti-porcine
CD3 antibody (VMRD, Inc., Pullman, WA) were used as T cell marker. Specific
binding was detected with FITC- and PerCP-labeled secondary antibodies. The staining
intensity of the cells is shown as dot plots. A) Immunoreaction with antibodies for
SWC3a and CD8. (a) and (d) indicate CD172a- and CD8-positive cells, respectively. B)
Immunoreaction with antibodies for CD3 and CD8. (a) and (d) indicate CD3- and
CD8-specific positive cells, respectively, while (b) indicates both CD3- and
CD8-positive cells. C) negative control. Note the no cross-reaction of anti-CD172a
antibody with CD8 positive cells.
